to meet around your schedule. It is a 10 week program. For further info, stop

Bible Study
"Woman-to-Woman"
Do you need an oasis to revive you in the middle of a stressful week? If you
answered yes, then we've got just the thing for you! Join us this year for a
refreshing time of learning, laughter, and relationship building. Each
Wednesday morning, a speaker will challenge us with a message on topics that
relate to you - no matter what stage of life you're in. In addition to the
speaker, our discussion time will give us plenty of opportunity to learn from
each other and God's Word. It's going to be exciting!
Where: the Hope Community Church Building - Oak Forest
When: Wednesdays, beginning on September 13th, 2006
Time: 9:30-11:30am
Childcare will be provided each week by nurturing and caring staff - ages
infant and up.
Coffeehouse
Our Coffeehouse is an opportunity for the women of Hope and their friends,
family, neighbors--whomever they'd like to invite--to gather in a relaxed
atmosphere while enjoying conversation, food, music and a spiritual challenge.
It is held semi-annually, in the spring and fall, and focuses on a unique theme
for the evening. We can always use fresh ideas and helping hands! For more info
or to volunteer, please check the Women's Ministry Table or the Hope website.
Women's Fellowship
This ministry is made up of a team of women planning fun,
social activities that create opportunities to meet new friends, put
names to familiar faces and hang out with old friends. Movie nights,
scrapbooking and eating out are just a few of the ongoing events. For a
list of activities and their dates and times, please stop at the Women's
Ministry Table or check out the Hope website.
Women's Care Ministry
Are you looking for a way to serve and get involved at Hope? Your place
might be with the Women's Care Ministry! It's not an overwhelming
commitment, just a chance to help others as the opportunity arises. Make a
meal, run an errand, give a ride, send a card, help decorate.....we need your
help to help others.
Manna From Heaven
During or after a hospitalization, family emergency, new baby, etc., home cooked
meals can be brought to your home to help ease your burden in a practical way.
If you enjoy cooking and are interested in serving or if you know of someone's
need (including your own), please contact our Care Coordinator, Jocelyn
Shelby, at 708-687-2230 or info@hopefriends.com.
Hospitality
We want to help our church family and ministry departments with food preparation
for special events, funerals, receptions, etc. Scheduling varies
depending on the event. For more info or to find out how you can be a
part of this vital ministry, please stop by the Women's Ministry table.
General Care
Mobilizing women to care for other women in need, within our church
community or in our community at large. To share your time and talents with this
effort, please email
info@hopefriends.com.
The willingness to make life easier for someone else is a great way to use the
talents God gave you!
